Empires of the North: Wrath of the Lighthouse is a solo campaign driven by the award-winning engine building card game “Empires of the North”. The expansion comes with 15 unique solo scenarios that are played in order to correspond to the stories found in the campaign book. When played in campaign mode, players can access new types of cards such as event cards, legacy location cards that last between games, and Lighthouse cards shuffled in island decks. In addition, each scenario can be played independently just like base game scenarios. In story mode, play with campaign books and slowly discover how the plot deploys Why is a growing coastal lighthouses? Why people strongly against the reconstruction of the cathedral? And are the oceans attacked by storms? Empires of the North: Wrath of the Lighthouse is designed by Joanna Kijanka, a co-designer of base games, and includes all the features of the previously released game. The expansion includes 55 cards, a scenario booklet with 15 unique scenarios, and a campaign book with over 50 story brunches.
